Using AI Capable Cameras, OB Traffic is in the process of developing vehicle detection for smart intersection phasing, completely removing the necessity for vehicle detection loops and all the fuss that comes with them.

We rep 3M, whose road markers pass all stress tests in all extreme weather environments. Also, any reflective tape or other 3M products you may need for your fleet vehicles, signs, or road surfaces.

POTHOLE DETECTION
OB Traffic co-designed a pothole detection unit that can be installed on all city fleet vehicles. When a city fleet vehicle drives through a pothole, EXACT GPS location will be tagged, as well as depth, length, and side of road location. This data is then forwarded to DOT. No more paying Google monthly for the extremely inaccurate  pothole collected data from WAZE.

NATIVE EASY PATCH ASPHALT
Our Native Asphalt is superior to Manufactures Asphalt in literally every single way. Manufactured Asphalt mixes rely on chemicals to replicate the natural bonding action of native asphalt. And those chemicals matter if you care about the safety and environmental impact of a pavement patch.

– 35% greater coverage per pound vs manufactured asphalt.
– NO TARRY MESS – Unlike oily manufactured mixes, our rocks remain dry and clean until compaction. Won’t ruin clothes, truck interiors, or track into buildings. Manufactured Asphalt (YUCK) requires chemicals and additives to bond.

– ONE FINAL NUGGET: Our asphalt can be used to repair CONCRETE surfaces. Our concrete contains none of the acids that cold mix asphalts rely on to remain workable, works great for repairing concrete surfaces like bridge decks, parking lots, and so on. Unlike most cold mix asphalts, our product as a neutral PH and won’t cause spalling or cracking.

Process is simple:
See a hole, clear debris out of said hole, pour in our asphalt, compact, done (and time for a snack). Water in the hole? Doesn’t matter.  Negative 30 degrees outside? No problem.

GUNSHOT DETECTION
Gunshots within the city? Our tech triangulates it and immediately alerts first responders. Triangulation is then passed off to CCTV system, which will then outline and track suspect.

WRONG WAY DRIVER DETECTION
OB Traffic has developed and implemented a wrong way driver detection system for IOWA DOT, the system has been up for 12 months and 140 wrong way drivers have been stopped. Number of lives saved can be confidently estimated at well over 140 because of the head on collisions avoided.

TRAFFIC CABINETS 
OB Traffic has developed a patent pending aluminum highly durable aluminum clear coating made of naturally occurring ingredients. OB Traffic Cabinets are coated with a naturally occuring heat resistant substance that repels 95% of UV Radiation, drastically reducing internal temps of cabinetry. This greatly improves life cycle of internal components.
